Descripción general

Our client, a global leader in engineering electronic components and network solutions in more than 150 countries, with head quarters in United States of America, requires qualified candidates for its Shared Services Center in Costa Rica to fill the following position:

Role Description
In order to drive efficient back office operations, TE Connectivity will establish two regional shared service centers to support centralized processing of select finance functions including Record to Report (R2R) processes.

This position will report to the R2R Process Delivery Lead and lead R2R teams in the planning, management and delivery of in scope processes including General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Intercompany Processing, Fixed Assets and any other related managerial and decision activities. Key attributes of this role include:

· Experience in a financial shared service center supporting multiple countries / business units

· Deep understanding of end to end R2R processes and associated technology platforms

· Excellent analytical skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems.

· Well-developed management and leadership skills

Key Responsibilities
Manage R2R teams. Ensure quality and efficiency of work produced. Hold regular meetings, coach and mentor team, recognize key employees. Be a Subject Matter Expert for R2R related topics. Support migration of R2R processes from countries throughout the Americas to San Jose, Costa Rica. Ensure all journal entries (including intercompany) are accurately posted and supported. Manage the completion of required close activities including review of month end Intercompany statements. Oversee the submission of monthly, quarterly and annual reports required by the region. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports generated through ERP systems including updates for changes in financial master data (e.g., chart of accounts, entity structure, accounting codes, etc.). Appropriately manage and escalate issues with service delivery. Perform regular performance evaluations of staff members. Identify and contribute to continuous improvement and change initiatives within the R2R function, ensuring that improvements are incorporated in the work routine. Form strong collaborative relationship with Global Process Owners. Ensure robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes. Ensure fulfillment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs), continuously improving on performance benchmarks. Proactively monitor and operate a robust SOX and internal control environment. Build strong relationship with key stakeholders
Education
Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting
Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience. Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience preferred. Prior experience in managing R2R functions in a shared services environment.
Other Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in English. Strong accounting background.
