Descripción general

Our client, a global leader in engineering electronic components and network solutions in more than 150 countries, with head quarters in United States of America, requires qualified candidates for its Shared Services Center in Costa Rica to fill the following position:

Role Description
In order to drive efficient back office operations, TE Connectivity will establish two regional shared service centers to support centralized processing of select finance functions including Record to Report (R2R) processes.

This position will report to the R2R Process Delivery Supervisor and act as a senior member of the R2R team focused on Financial Reporting, Intercompany Accounting, Month End Close processes, Fixed Assets. The candidate will act as deputy to the team lead during busy periods. Key attributes of this role include:

· Experience in a financial shared service center supporting multiple countries / business units

· Strong understanding of end to end R2R processes and associated technology platforms

· Excellent analytical skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems.

· Strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities
Be a Subject Matter Expert for R2R related topics, develop skills & knowledge of other junior R2R analysts. Support migration of R2R processes from countries throughout the Americas to San Jose, Costa Rica and prepare R2R related process documentation (process maps and work instructions). Act as senior team member, developing skills & knowledge of other analysts. Full general ledger accounting of companies. Complete required close activities including review of month end Intercompany statements. Produce monthly, quarterly and annual reports required by the region. Developing and maintaining working familiarity with applicable laws, regulations and interpretations governing financial statements and disclosures, including IFRS. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports generated through ERP systems including updates for changes in financial master data (e.g., chart of accounts, entity structure, accounting codes, etc.). Liaising with auditors and tax advisors and coordinating the supply of information and responses to queries. Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the R2R function, ensuring that improvements are incorporated in the work routine. Ensure robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes. Ensure strong working knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs), providing inputs to continuously improve performance benchmarks. Build strong relationship with key stakeholders.
Education
Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting
Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience. Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience preferred. Prior experience in R2R functions in a shared services environment.
Other Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in English. Strong accounting background.
